Accra, Ghana – Following the outstanding success of YIMGA25, which climaxed on the 20th of September 2025, the Youth In Me Ghana Awards (YIMGA) has officially launched its 2026 edition, marking a bold new chapter in celebrating and empowering young creative talents across Ghana.
YIMGA25 was widely praised for its exceptional organization, electrifying performances, inspiring nominees, and groundbreaking recognition of Ghana’s rising stars and cultural icons. The event brought together influential industry players, media houses, partners, and hundreds of passionate youth showcasing their gifts in modeling, music, photography, fashion, and digital influence. The overwhelming positive reception has strengthened public trust in YIMGA as one of Ghana’s most credible youth award platforms.
A New Vision for YIMGA 26
Speaking at the launch, CEO Shadrach Obugyei emphasized that YIMGA 26 will be bigger, more impactful, and more inclusive, with a renewed mission to create long-term opportunities for youth beyond the awards night.
“YIMGA is not just an event-it’s a movement. With YIMGA 26, we are expanding our vision, our reach, and our responsibilities to the youth of Ghana. After the success of YIMGA25, we are ready to raise the bar even higher.”
COO Jonathan Nii Amarh Ashong added that YIMGA 26 will introduce upgraded nominee tasks, more mentorship programs, creative bootcamps, and stronger partnerships with brands, schools, and institutions that share YIMGA’s mission of empowering emerging talent.
