The Youth In Me Ghana Awards (YIMGA) is proud to celebrate one of Ghana’s most iconic actors, Kofi Adjorlolo, with a Lifetime Achievement Recognition in Film and Entertaiment.

On Monday, 25th August 2025, the Youth In Me Ghana Awards (YIMGA) Executive team paid a special visit to Ghana’s screen legend, Mr. Kofi Adjorlolo, to celebrate his unmatched impact in film and entertainment. The visit was not only to officially announce his recognition but also to extend YIMGA’s heartfelt appreciation for his timeless contributions to Ghanaian cinema and culture.

For decades, Kofi Adjorlolo has graced both the big and small screens, captivating audiences with his versatile performances and unique storytelling ability. His work has stood the test of time, making him one of the most respected actors in the country. During the courtesy call, YIMGA CEO Shadrach Obugyei described him as “a living legend whose journey represents excellence, consistency, and resilience in Ghana’s creative space.” The CEO emphasized that Mr. Adjorlolo’s recognition is not just an award but a symbol of gratitude for paving the way for younger talents to believe in the power of storytelling.

Mr. Adjorlolo’s Response and Promise

In response, Mr. Adjorlolo warmly expressed his gratitude to YIMGA for honoring him while still active in his career. He also promised to join the youth and creative community on the grand stage during the YIMGA D-day- Saturday, 20th September 2025 – 5:00pm at the GH Media Schools Mega Studio, Achimota Abofu Street. There, he will officially receive his Recognition Award in Film & Entertainment before an audience of young dreamers and industry pioneers.
